Objective
The overall objective of project PRO 050 (MARKPRO) is to assist Danish SMEs to become more innovative and thus more competitive through the implementation of a series of Innovation Management Techniques. Responsible for the implementation of these techniques will be 11 IMT consultants who, following a selection procedure, will participate in a 3 day seminar to be trained in market orientation and product development methodologies.
The consultants will carry out 22 assignments in Danish SMEs spread over 4 regions (North and South Jutland, Funen and Zealand). The assignment work is in modular form and dependent upon the enterprises situation, entails diagnosis, specific analysis and follow-up.
The selected methodologies to be promoted are as follows:
- Measurement of market orientation
A proprietory tool called MAPPMO which is a supported by a software tool and measures the attitude and behaviour in terms of market orientation of an enterprise
- ADVIA which is a strategic marketing software package
- Select a tool which helps enterprises select appropriate product projects for commercialisation
- QFD - Quality Function Deployment
- Stage / Gate System - a project management tool for developing new products
- Value analysis
