Proliferation vs. differentiation: role of cell cycle regulators in the establishment and maintenance of terminal differentiation

Objective

The main goal of the proposed work is to contribute to better understand the molecular mechanisms that retain terminally differentiated cells into a non-proliferative state. These findings could help to shed light in the deregulation of proliferation that occurs in tumour cells.
