Congress to develop consensus among network partners on the concept : "global cancer management : towards a european model."

Objective

Consensus was reached in a closed European workshop on Cancer Control Planning Instruments and Network Partners QLG4 2000.300.45. This congress is the second step to disseminate the concept to the care providers as political organisations, professional organisations and institutions. The model is a research product of assets of a cancer control plan, evaluation of measures and resources to quality controlled activity in the available health systems. Ranking structures and performance against expected outcome should lead to a network of partners in several levels of development. Outcome based research will evaluate the response of initiation of this plan on ethics, equal rights, evidence based medicine in a multidisciplinary cost effective model involving stewardship of government and patient rights .
