Objective
The role of GABAergic microcircuits in context-dependent perceptual enhancement and spatio-temporal sculpting of sensory processing will be studied in the mormyrid fish electro sensory lobe. This is relevant to a better understanding of central sensory pathologies and to the development of intelligent prosthetic devices
