Characterization of the mesoderm-specific enhancer of the igf2 gene

Objective

The aim of this project is the identification and characterization of an enhancer activating the Igf2 gene in mesodermal tissues. The project will be carried out by performing gene transfer experiments in cultured cell lines and mouse embryos and in vitro studies on protein-DNA interactions.
