Objective
The 5th European Meeting on Gill Cell Function in Health and Disease (Eulogia 2002) will collect European scientists working on the biology and pathology of gill cells with special attention to issues concerning cellular molecular signalling in health and in neurological diseases, such as Alzheimer's and Creutzfeldt-Jakob diseases, multiple sclerosis, schema, glooms, peripheral neuropathies and others. The Meeting will offer 5 Key-Note Lectures, 10 Workshops and long sessions of Poster presentations, to give the opportunity of formal and informal discussions to senior and young researchers. Based on the attendance to previous Meetings of this series, we expect over 600 participants, from all over the world, although most of them are expected from Europe. The journal GLIA (published by Wiley & Sons) has agreed to publish a Supplement with all the abstracts of platform and poster presentations that will be distributed at the Meeting and to all GLIA subscribers.
