Bringing research advances in neurobiology to society (BRAINS)

Objective

Neck Institute with 148 researchers & 51 PhD students is the largest biological research centre in Poland. Research is mainly focused on neurobiology in interdisciplinary approach from molecular to organism level. It covers problems in brain physiology from petrochemical mechanisms to principles of integration of neuronal networks and foundations of animal and human behaviour. Due to high quality of research and strong international links Neck is recognised as a leader in neuroscience.
