Role of the nuclear receptor peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (ppar alpha) in regulating plasma levels of cardiovascular risk factors.

Objective

The project aims at elucidating the role of the nuclear RECPTOR peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha in suppressing inflammatory reactants such as fibrinogen and cytokines. We propose to study the regulatory mechanisms involved using transgenic mice models and adenovirus technology.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
