Development of beneficial forms of apolipoprotein e that can clear cholesterol without triggering the unwanted side-effect of hypertriglyceridemia

Objective

Study of the structure-function relationship of the human apolipoprotein E (ape), and identification of the discreet or overlapping domains of the protein that are involved in the cholesterol clearance and the induced-induced hypertriglyceridemia in vivo.
