Escherichia coli 0157:h7 rpos site-directed mutants: ability to compete and survive in food

Objective

The aim of this project is to create a range of specific site-directed mutations in the pros gene of non-oxygenic E. coil O157:H7 strains to assess the effect of such mutations in growth competition, and cellular adaptation to various stress conditions related to the food chain.
