Objective
In order to satisfy the demand of the costumers and for legal requirements, the food safety is the goal of many industries. However, the detection of toxic compounds in foods by available methodology is very difficult, cost and slow. The proposal goals are related to the development, optimisation and validation of dipstick formats for the determination of antibiotics and sulphonamides in honey. In addition. A Surveillance Program (SP) wood is implemented into the partner enterprises by using the developed methodology for the study of the contaminant incidence on honey from wide range locations. The research centres (RTD) will be involved in the development, optimisation. Validation of immunoassays and training technical personnel from the partners enterprises, for a future implementation of-the SP mentioned above. In summary, the developed methodology allowing to carry out the control of ant microbial drug residues in honey in a rapid, sensitive. Cheaper and reliable way with a minimal sample treatment. Moreover, the possibility to carry out in site analysis and in a real time, are an important advantage to take decisions that allow suitable performances.
