Objective
Our aim is to give leading European researchers the opportunity to present their scientific programs to scientists of other European countries. The ESGT was created as a transactional organisation with the aim to generate European added value cooperation with the additional possibility to enhance collaboration between universities of different European countries and companies. In concordance with the EC policy to encourage high tech developments, the EC has supported most of the previous annual ESGT meetings. We are now asking for support for the 9th Ann. ESGT-Meeting 2001, held in Anatolia, Turkey 2 - 4 Nov. 2001. By getting sponsorship and public support we will be able to reduce registration-fees for students and beginning scientists and in addition it will allow us to support the travel of top European speakers.
