Objective
174 scientists have been trained to date, 42 of who have already started companies and/or successfully raised funds. List attached. 95% of participants rate the activities from good to excellent and 90% of them would recommend the training to colleagues. On top of the EC funded workshops, Booby has been incorporated repeatedly in several national initiatives in Ireland, France, the Netherlands and in the European Bio business Master class supported by the EC.Biobiz has been evaluated on several occasions by officers of the Cede to an increasing demand, the proposal is to extend Booby for an other 15 workshops throughout Europe and associated States, involving the Innovation Relay Centres.
