Eufeps 2002: new safe medicines faster. an integrated congress

Objective

A strong scientific programme is essential for any congress. To attract modern, hard working you researchers from academia, and from She's, it is also necessary to integrate and offer para-scientificevents. In Afternoon Special Sessions, industrial collaboration, patenting, ethics, training and education, entrepreneurship and start-ups, financing (public and private), funding from EU Framework Programme will be discussed. In a series of "Meet the Specialist" events, job bourse, press and miscommunication and interaction with the patient organisations, will be covered. Planned and spontaneous net working, and organisation of larger consortia, to address research problems, which need European integration, will be organised for later FP6 applications. Tentative titles for large integrated projects include: Functional genomic for medicines development; bio-simulation; Clinical trials platforms; Electronic R&D in drug development; Regulatory research; Personalised medicine (pharmacogenetics); and Biomarkers.
