Objective
A European conference "An Environment for Better Health" will take place in Airbus, May 2003. The conference is organised by a steering group that has been appointed by European Science Foundation (ESF), WHO Europe and the Danish Centre for Environment and Health, Ministry of Interior and Health. The conference will be open for scientists and administrators in the area of environment and health, and will consist of plenary sessions, keynote lecturers and group discussions. Invited papers will review European research activities in the priority areas identified by the ESF programme "Environment and Health Research for Europe", that were presented at the 3rd. Ministerial conference on Environment and Health. This will be supplemented by presentations of ongoing EC-supported projects. A summary report will be submitted for presentation at the 4th. Ministerial conference, Budapest 2004.
