Dynamics and conservation of genetic diversity in forest ecosystems

Objective

DYGEN is a proposal for a conference that aims at filling the gap between results obtained through R&D research proposals in the area of population, evolutionary and ecological genetics of forest trees and their implementation in conservation actions. The conference will gather scientists from various complementary fields (population and quantitative genetics, ecology, forest biology) and foresters and end users from conservation agencies, forestry organizations and other stakeholders. The conference will be organised by INRA, EUFORGEN and IUFRO and will last over 4 days.
