Orientation of animal agricultural research towards sustainable rural development and the integration of research within europe

Objective

The main aim of this project is to establish a common understanding within animal production research centres from the NAS and the EU on animal agriculture and life science subjects with respect to orientation towards sustainable rural development and integration with other stakeholders in animal farming in the country and with other related scientific disciplines. The proposed measures are expected to enhance the exchange of knowledge in relevant areas and the methods used in their dissemination in the context of conditions in the NAB and the EU, and to reinforce the Institute's capacity in particular areas in order to meet changing regional conditions and the challenge of European integration. Visits of seniors and juniors from abroad and visits to other research centres, workshops, conferences and training in particular work packages will be organised
