Objective
This proposal aims to generate unbiased estimates of the total numbers of astrocytes, oligodendrocytes, imbroglio and their precursor cells in the normal developing and adult human brain, and to study the ontogenesis and differentiation of the supporting atrocities, the myelin-forming oligodendrocytes and the immunocompetent imbroglio cells. Additionally, the functionally very important process of mediation of axons will be studied quantitatively in children.
