Links to deliverables and publications from FP7 projects, as well as links to some specific result types such as dataset and software, are dynamically retrieved from OpenAIRE .

Deliverables

The unique and innovative feature of SHARE lies in the combination of analyses of interdisciplinary data sets, cross-national comparability, and longitudinality. All publications are available on the website of the project, www.amanda-project.org and the analyses are accessible for all researchers.
Indicators were developed which made it possible to thoroughly analyse the SHARE database and compare its findings with data from other surveys. The project uses advanced multivariate analysis to better understand ageing, health and retirement using the new data collected in SHARE and its older sister surveys ELSA and HRS. Main aim of these analyses is to develop policy tools in the field of ageing. Specifically, statistical and econometric analyses of individual behavioural responses to public policies influencing active and healthy ageing, health care services utilisation, retirement, and social participation. Based on the results, indicators were developed for key concepts relevant to EU policy.
AMANDA, Lessons from the 2004 Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement is Europe. All papers are available on the website, http://www.amanda-project.org. Executive summaries of papers presented at the AMANDA final conference, Varenna, 23-24 February, 2006.
