Proteomic analysis of micro-dissected neurons from huntington disease brains.

Objective

Striate and cortical neurons from Huntington Disease (HD) and normal control brains will be selectively captured using laser capture micro dissection. Proteins extracted from these cells will be analysed using a range of polemic techniques. Biomarkers of HD represent potential targets for therapeutic intervention.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)

CORDIS classifies projects with EuroSciVoc, a multilingual taxonomy of fields of science, through a semi-automatic process based on NLP techniques. See: The European Science Vocabulary.
