Life sciences mobility consultancy (LSMC)

Objective

It is proposed to establish a consultancy giving information and advice to life scientists, moving within Europe or to Europe, on obtaining funding (grants, fellowships, bursaries etc) for work in a European Laboratory. The consultancy would consist of: a database containing, as a priority, transactional grants, and job offers for scientists working in Europe; contextual sing information on grants (expert advice for applicants); text pieces on certain grants; frequently asked questions feature; careers and working-abroad articles; a person to act as the grants consultant, receiving questions from scientists looking for funding to move within or come to Europe, or having specific queries about a particular grant, and answering them with specific and general advice. This service would act as a one-stop shop for advice, and would be hosted via the Internet.
