Objective
The principal aim of this project is the production of syngas from gasification of low-grade coal and biomass to be directly used for highly efficient electric energy production (direct combustion in gas turbine, fuel cells). A gas tar free is required in both applications.
The objective of the present project is to establish the efficiency of different gasification conditions and catalytic tar cracking technologies to obtain the required gas purity. Theoretical solutions will be validated by means of appropriate experimental campaigns.
