STRUCTURAL RELIABILITY BENCHMARK EXERCISE (SRBE) FOR LWR PRIMARY CIRCUIT COMPONENTS LIFE PREDICTION.

Objective

THE OBJECTIVES RELATE TO THE VALIDATION OF VARIOUS TECHNIQUES AND METHODS WITH EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS OF THE JRC 1:5 VESSEL MODELS AND TO THE COMPARISON OF PREDICTIONS WITH THOSE CARRIED OUT BY OTHER INSTITUTIONS PARTICIPATING IN THE BENCHMARK EXERCISE.

PROBABILISTIC MODELS FOR LIFE PREDICTION FOR PRESSURE VESSELS HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED. VALIDATION ON REAL STRUCTURES HAS, HOWEVER, NOT YET BEEN PERFORMED.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROPOSED ACTIVITY ARE TO TEST THE PROBABILISTIC MODELS ON AN APPROXIMATELY "REAL STRUCTURE" AS THE JRC-1/5 SCALE VESSEL MODELS, WHERE THE DETAILED INFORMATION AND DATA EXIST.

THE TECHNIQUES AND METHODOLOGIES OF DIFFERENT DANISH INSTITUTIONS WORKING IN THE FIELD OF STRUCTURAL RELIABILITY WILL BE UTILIZED.

Fields of science (EuroSciVoc)
