Objetivo THE USE OF TRANSPARENT ON WAY PLASTIC BOTTLES IS GROWING RAPIDLY RESULTING IN ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEMS AND AUESTIONS OF EFFICIENT RAW MATERIAL USE. THE PROPOSED INVESTIGATION WORK WILL BE CARRIED OUT IN COOPERATION WITH ALL INDUSTRIES INVOLVED (FROM RAW MATERIAL MANUFACTURES TO THE DISTRIBUTION CHANNEL) IN ORDER TO ARRIVE AT AN INTEGRATED AND EFFICIENT RECYCLING SYSTEM. THE FORESSEEN PROGRAMME INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: - STUDY OF THE SOCIAL-ECONOMIC FACTORS TO DETERMINE THE MOST EFFICIENT COLLECTION TECHNIQUE. - STUDY OF THE PHYSICAL-TECHNICAL PARAMETERS TO DEVELOP A SEPARATION SYSTEM FOR TRANSPARENT PLASTICS (PET-PVC). - STUDY OF THE PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL PARAMETERS FOR PURIFICATION OF THE POLYMER FRACTIONS. - STUDY FOR AUTOMATISATION OF THE UNIT OPERATIONS INVOLVED. - STUDY OF A PILOT PLANT BASED ON THE DEVELOPED TECHNOLOGY. - STUDY OF AN INTEGRATED SYSTEM TO REUSE THE RECYCLED POLYMER. - MARKET SURVEY FOR THE RECYCLED MATERIAL.
