Objective
In the proposed project the experience of European theoreticians and experimentalists in the field of spectroscopy of molecular ions is combined. The aim of the proposal is to study sources producing new ions, with an emphasis on negative ones and ionic clusters, the development of new spectroscopic methods and techniques and to study the dynamics of plasmas, resolved in space and time. Results will be obtained which will also be of vital importance to radion astronomers. The groups as a whole forms an excellent balance between different experimental and theoretical techniques and interests, covering a very wide range needed for this project to be successful.
