Objective
Studies conducted are as follows:
methyl cyanide in Orion-KL;
ammonia (1,1) and (2,2) emission from recently discovered candidate protostellar objects;
mapping G43.3 in various near infrared bands;
a 330-360 GHz spectral line survey in G34.3;
the statistical equilibrium modelling program has been altered to allow modelling of the interferometric maps of methyl cyanide (J=6-5) of G34.3 made with the Nobeyama millimetre array;
MERLIN 5 GHz continuum mapping of G34.3.
