Objective
Work has been conducted on the development of a nonstandard logic which could help to define a new axiomatization of preference modelling.
Studies have involved:
a survey of nonconventional preference modelling;
definition of a sound and complete 4-valued logic enabling both propositional and first order predicate calculus with strong connectives;
definition of a preference structure on the basis of the logic developed enabling a more rich representation of preference situations;
first implementation of a software, using logic programming, where this preference structure and the relative logic is used.
This software could be used as a basis for flexible and reliable negotiation and decision support systems.
