Objective

The aim is to implement a solar thermal system to equip three hotel facilities in Algarve (PO). It is foreseen to install a total of 304 m2 of solar vacuum tubes collectors (SVT) and an absorption system which will work as a heat pump to produce DHW heating and hot/cold water for ambient climatization for fully year. The system will be modular. Yearly solar energy could cover 90% of needs. Solar system will be integrated on the roofs according to Algarve traditional architecture. 117 total rooms after retrofitting works. Tele-monitoring system to detect, in real time, any eventual anomaly.
