Objective
To illuminate architectural monuments in three remote tourist sites of south-eastern Corsica: a medieval tower, three church ruins and a chapel. Illumination of a map, three planimetries and twelve sign posts with touristical and commercial informations.
The good operation of the installations for the lighting of monuments and the touristic and commercial sign posts gives complete satisfaction to the users.
This project helped in enhancing the historical aspects of the region improving the quality of the services for tourism.
The problems due to robbery and vandalism have unfortunately limited the positive impact expected from this project.
Unit energy cost is reported to be 3.2 ECU/kWh (or 2.9 ECU/kWh for a replication).
