Industrial enzynmes: Developing measurement methods for air concentrations

Objective

A NETWORK : 'INDUSTRIAL ENZYMES : DEVELOPING MEASUREMENT METHODS FOR AIR CONCENTRATIONS' IS PROPOSED TO BE ESTABLISHED. THIS KIND OF NETWORK WOULD SERVE AS A NEW FORUM AND CONTACT SYSTEM TO DISCUSS AND SHARE KNOWLEDGE AND INFORMATION ON ALL RELEVANT ASPECTS CONCERNING MEASUREMENT OF AIR CONCENTRATIONS OF ENZYMES. THE NETWORK WOULD ALSO BE A BASIS TO ESTABLISH CONCRETE PROJECTS BETWEEN EXPERTS IN BIOTECHNOLOGY, INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE AND OCCUPATIONAL MEDICINE, AND VARIOUS INDUSTRIES TO SOLVE THE EMERGING HEALTH PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH EXPOSURE TO INDUSTRIAL ENZYMES IN PRODUCTION AND IN END USE. THIS TYPE OF FORUM DOES NOT EXIST AT PRESENT AND THE NEED OF IT HAS BEEN ACKNOWLEDGED IN ALL PARTS.THE PARTNERS OF THE NETWORK WOULD :
-REPORT THEIR EXPERIENCES IN ASSESSING OR MEASURING ENZYME CONCENTRATIONS INWORKPLACES AND REPORT THE ANALYSIS AND SAMPLING METHODS
-PARTICIPATE TO WORKSHOPS AND MEETINGS BETWEEN PARTNERS TO DISCUSS RELEVANT ASPECTS IN THE FIELD
-PARTICIPATE TO INTERCOMPARISONS OF ENZYME DUST ANALYSIS
-TAKE A RESPONSIBLE ROLE AS A PARTNER IN A FUTURE PROJECT TO DEVELOP STANDARDIZED METHODS FOR AIRBORNE ENZYME MEASUREMENT.
