POLICY ASSESSMENT OF TRANS-EUROPEAN NETWORKS & COMMON TRANSPORT POLICY

Objective

1. To provide a preliminary policy assessments methodology related to decisions on transport infrastructure investments and service evaluations; more specifically, the aim is to develop a methodology that could be utilised in the assessment of alternative.

2. To provide a comprehensive policy assessment of the European Common Transport Policy (CTP) with a view of advancing forward recommendations that may assist its further development and implementation.

3. To provide input and data for further or parallel research on the subject (and specifically with reference to tasks 11, 12, 13, 19 and 20 of the strategic research programme).
