HORMONAL CONTROL OF EUKARIOTIC GENE EXPRESSION: JOINT STUDY ON THE INTERACTION OF STEROID & THYROID HORMONE RECEPTORS WITH CLONED GENES & ITS PHYSIOLOGICAL SIGNIFIANCE

Objective

The regulation of expression of somatotrophin genes by steroid and related hormone receptors has been the main goal of the work. The glucocorticoid receptor biochemistry has been evaluated using chemical modification and immunological methods. Factors have been found in cell extracts capable of gene expression regulation, some of which have been characterised.
