LATIN AMERICA BUSINESS OPORTUNITIES RESEARCH FOR TELEMATICS APPLICATION PROJECTS

Objective

LABORTEL is to promote new EU telematics markets and business opportunities in parts of Latin American with promising potential for them. It will focus on market research, research cooperation and technology transfer from the EU Telematics Applications Programme to selected countries, as well as suitable products for pilot installations and sales. Workshops and other activity will cover aspects such as needs identification, and the potential market for high tech in Latin American health care and education. LABORTEL will be rounded off with two conferences and a set of books publicising its main findings.
