Objective
The SME-NARIO project will help SMEs strengthen their market position through the strategic management of telematics. It will also enable them to provide better information on their telematics needs to the European Commission and IT suppliers. The project's main goals are: to develop and test a strategic multimedia information and management package in order to map SMEs' telematics and IT needs; to use it to draw up three-year development plans; and to define overall telematics needs, opportunities and threats by monitoring and evaluating the results. A Community-wide understanding of telematics needs will improve the level of knowledge on both sides of the industry, ensure their proper use, and enhance profitability, thereby revitalising SMEs' prospects.
