Objective The CONCORD II will promote the general development of telematics applications in Europe by harmonising applications requirements and the relevant telematics infrastructure. It will put in place a mechanism to derive the common requirements gained in the telematics applications projects being implemented in the different sectors, collect the most relevant results in terms of suitable solutions and capture such information in Infrastructure Evolution Recommendations (IER). Results and solutions will then be submitted to a wider users' community for discussion, comments and finally validation.
