FUTURE LINES OF USER INTERFACE DECISION SUPPORT

Objective

FLUIDS is aimed at a general software environment for building the intelligent interfaces needed to improve user/system interaction in real-time automated decision-support systems. In this approach, an interface model of the operator/system conversation will be supported with elements developed using artificial intelligence, and presented to the user by integrating advanced multimedia techniques. The environment will have an open architecture adaptable to the needs of different systems and users. Expected to provide a methodology for interface development, the approach will be tested on two current city traffic management systems.
