MODELS OF INDUSTRIAL RELATIONS IN TELEWORK INNOVATION

Objective

Sponsored by the European Trade Union Confederation, MIRTI aims to establish new patterns of regulatory industrial relations now called for by the impact of telematics at the work-place. It will develop guidelines and recommendations for the introduction of telework in companies and the public sector, for employer/employee contracts and for very small firms. Recommendations for national or EU-level implementation will also be considered. The project will provide a basis for EU cooperation on telework initiatives between employers and trade unions, pointing the way to fresh political strategies and legislation.
