POLYMER CONTROLLED WATER FLOODING ON-SHORE INJECTION TESTS

Objective

The programme was designed to test the use of sea water compatible polymers in reservoirs where water flood management is possible during water injection by redirecting flow.
Only a literature survey of the use of water soluble polymers in field tests in Europe, USSR and North and South of America has been carried out.
It is intended to demonstrate sea water injection profile management with a single well injection test.
Stage 1: Reservoir selection
Stage 2: Planning and reservoir analysis
Stage 3: Drilling and logging
Stage 4: Proposed injection test.

Programme(s)

Multi-annual funding programmes that define the EU’s priorities for research and innovation.

Topic(s)

Calls for proposals are divided into topics. A topic defines a specific subject or area for which applicants can submit proposals. The description of a topic comprises its specific scope and the expected impact of the funded project.

Call for proposal

Procedure for inviting applicants to submit project proposals, with the aim of receiving EU funding.
