Exploitable results European Railways Optimisation Planning Environment Teleconferencing Railways Information System; EUROPE-TRIS EUROPE-TRIS is developing tools to address the planning process in railway companies. The activities that are supported include infrastructure management and transport operations (in line with the European Directives 440/91). Three products will be commercialised world-wide: 1) a Traffic Capacity Management simulator; 2) Timetable teleconferencing systems which address tactical planning; 3) Freight-Timetable telemarketing systems which address contingency planning (particularly freight and intermodal operation).
