EMPLOY (European Multimedia Pedagogic Local support network Organisation for the social integration of unemployed Young Europeans) aimed to develop multimedia training centres for the young unemployed. Multimedia Web Tutor software for citizens comprising smart card access will be made commercially available across Europe and beginning with France, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Ireland and Austria. Demonstration centres were in La Rochelle (F), Stuttgart (D), Norfolk (UK), Dublin (IRL), and Linz (AT).
