Objective
The rise of the use of capacity of trucks by developping a system of freight exchange.
A first result to be expected is that road bauliers are going to offer eachother return loads from their own country and send along with eachother parts of consignments. Later on bauliers may, within a closer co-operation, by systematic freight exchange turn to a smaller capacity in certain country-relations. Consequently the number of journeys between the Vetherlands and Eastern Europe will decrease for a same quantity of goods.
NIWO is together with its sister associations in the Eastern European countries aiming at a structural contact between road trasport enterprises from Eastern and Western Europe which are specialized in the various markets like e.g. controlled temperature transport, tand transport as well as conventional transport. The ultimate goal of the project is concentrated on the foreign contacts by which a system of freight exchange comes about so that the use of the capacity will rise in the long run.
