Objective
- Facilitate the exchange of pedagogical experiences and knowledge in the area of energy efficiency
- Develop a network of teachers and trainers
Within the theme of "Energy efficiency" our project aims to encourage and facilitate the exchange of educational experiences, the conception and distribution of educational materials in aid of teachers and trainers gathered in the cm3e network.
The three partners, cm3e (France), UCL (Belgium), AEPECT (Spain), contribute to the development and the animation of the network through :
* A directory of presently available teaching aids in the area of energy efficiency to prepare and edit an energy education resourcesbook.
* A list of the documents quoted above or to be published, authored by cm3e members, available for non commercial distribution, with the goal to set up a collection.
* The organisation of educational meetings and advanced training courses. We propose within the year 1994 three cursus :
- Energy efficiency of refrigerating equipment. An advanced training course directed to european trainers and teachers, with conferences, practical works, demonstration, visits.
- Energy efficiency in the areas of Heating, Air Conditionning and Cooling :educational software. Educational meeting in Liège Technothèque with demonstration, use,and critical analysis of educational software to teachers of technical and vocational secondary education. Some regional groups may be created after to exchange educational experiences and eventualy evaluate the content of courses.
- Energy efficient computers including :
* The state of the art in computer power load and consumption,
* The trends in the dissemination of recently developed energy efficient technics,
* The effect of indirect power loads such as Air Conditionning linked to office equipment, and more generally information technologies, thermal load. This educational meeting is directed to higher educational teacher.
