Objective Aims of the project: To disseminate Community know-how on ergonomics in the form of practical training in ergonomics, (based on the results of the Third and Fourth ECSC Programmes) for supervisory staff of the Charbonnages de France, with a view to their taking account of ergonomic factors in their routine activities. Aims of the research: Practical training in ergonomics for the supervisory staff of Charbonnages de France should give them all a general awareness of ergonomics. Improved perception of each person's work activity should also help to improve working conditions, prevent accidents and occupational diseases and improve plant reliability.
