Objective

Deliverables

  • Mock-Up Demo

    A Mock up version of the system (and the final product of an e-book created through it).

  • Final prototype of the system

    The final prototype of the integrated components in the Q-Tales platfrom.

  • Dissemination & Promotion material

    A report on the dissemination an rpomotional materials used throughout the project.

  • User Manual

    User manual for the end users interested to participate to Q-Tales platform. The user manual will be dstinguised per end-user role.

  • Integration Plan

    Integration plan to facilitate the delivery of stable builds of Q-Tales Components within the implementation iterations.

  • Q-Tales Ontology (OWL/RDF)

    Q-Tales specific ontology will be a combination of existing ontologies with the addition of new custom classes (mental state, learning difficulties, cultural differences, physical disabilities, ethics, etc) that will be created to serve the needs of the collaboration platform and the search needs of the end users for the identification of the most adequate apps for their needs.

  • Assessment & Evaluation Report – 2nd Milestone

    The report is clearly indicating how the milestone was achieved (including the corrective actions realised), in what quality levels and how this milestone is strengthening the overall success of the project.

  • Q-Tales Vision Document

    Q-Tales Business Model and a set of initial specifications and system variations, packaged in the Vision Document of the system.

  • Pedagogical Framework

    The consortium will conduct extensive research in order to identify the state-of- the-art in “learning by doing”, e-books, educational apps and related scientific & technology domains, with the aim to promote its innovation while setting up the required pedagogical basis for its implementation. To this end, the consortium will study and analyse available e-book standards, case studies, specifications and core technologies. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities, challenges and even ethical questions posed by these new technologies.

  • Q-Tales example scenarios

    5 indicative scenarios will be prepared that will embrace the vision of Q-Tales. The scenarios will be based on existing printed books or brand new stories and will integrate the game mechanics envisaged and the pedagogical framework to help end users reach the training goals.

  • Dissemination plan

    The dissemination plan will define the dissemination strategy of the consortium, detailing the time-schedule, the instruments and the evaluation methods for measuring its effectiveness.
