Deliverables
A Mock up version of the system (and the final product of an e-book created through it).
Final prototype of the system (opens in new window)The final prototype of the integrated components in the Q-Tales platfrom.

User Manual (opens in new window)User manual for the end users interested to participate to Q-Tales platform. The user manual will be dstinguised per end-user role.
Integration Plan (opens in new window)Integration plan to facilitate the delivery of stable builds of Q-Tales Components within the implementation iterations.
Q-Tales Ontology (OWL/RDF) (opens in new window)Q-Tales specific ontology will be a combination of existing ontologies with the addition of new custom classes (mental state, learning difficulties, cultural differences, physical disabilities, ethics, etc) that will be created to serve the needs of the collaboration platform and the search needs of the end users for the identification of the most adequate apps for their needs.
Assessment & Evaluation Report – 2nd Milestone (opens in new window)The report is clearly indicating how the milestone was achieved (including the corrective actions realised), in what quality levels and how this milestone is strengthening the overall success of the project.

To this end, the consortium will study and analyse available e-book standards, case studies, specifications and core technologies. The goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities, challenges and even ethical questions posed by these new technologies.
Q-Tales example scenarios (opens in new window)5 indicative scenarios will be prepared that will embrace the vision of Q-Tales. The scenarios will be based on existing printed books or brand new stories and will integrate the game mechanics envisaged and the pedagogical framework to help end users reach the training goals.
