Galileo Advanced Innovation Services

Objective

The objective of the Galileo Advanced Innovation Services (GAINS) project is to implement effective Galileo Downstream Application Innovation Services and to coordinate them by implementing “innovation highway” as a seamless process on European scale. The project can build on validated prototypes of the modular services from within the existing, outstanding initiatives represented in the consortium: “European Satellite Navigation Competition” (ESNC) also known as “Galileo Masters” for the identification of promising business ideas, the open innovation environments provided by the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), the business acceleration services of entrepreneurship activity centres and the 90 company strong EuroTeleServ Association for scale-up and ENCADRE, the network of SatNav regions.
The focused new contribution of the GAINS project is the implementation of “innovation highway” as a seamless process of coordinated Galileo Advanced Innovation Services, in the three main phases: idea recognition, product and services development, and new ventures creation.
