Cancer research fellowship training programme
Co-funded by the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions, iCARE-2 is an international cancer research fellowship programme for training a new generation of cancer researchers. The merit-based fellowship programme is managed by the AIRC Foundation for cancer research ETS, a private non-profit foundation created to find a cure for cancer through research. It is the leading charity providing about 40 % of all funds invested in cancer research in Italy. The iCARE-2 programme will let fellows choose the cancer-related topic of their research, their supervisors and hosting institutions worldwide. The extensive training in innovative research areas and acquisition of transferable skills will bring young scientists to the forefront of cancer research, paving the way to a career in oncology.
