Second release of applications’ Artificial Intelligence methods and solutions

EU lead participant: KENT, Korean lead participant: KETI. The deliverable will provide the second version of the applications’ AI methods and solutions. In the release, updates on the Cloud/Edge AI algorithms and on digital twin representation will be delivered. Use case-specific AI solutions will be detailed. The deliverable will include the software code.

First release of the DECENTER architecture specification and use cases

EU lead participant: CEA, Korean lead participant: LGUP. This deliverable will publicly deliver the first version of use case descriptions, business goals, technical and user requirements, resource and SLA models and overall architecture.

First release of applications’ Artificial Intelligence methods and solutions

EU lead participant: FBK, Korean lead participant: SNU. The deliverable will provide the first version of the applications’ AI methods and solutions. In the release, a preliminary version of the hierarchical Cloud/Edge AI algorithms will be delivered, together with digital twin representation investigations and a preliminary scouting of use-case specific needs. The deliverable will include the software code.

Final release of the DECENTER architecture specification and use cases

This deliverable will publicly deliver the final version of use case descriptions, business goals, technical and user requirements, resource and SLA models and overall architecture. The deliverable will also include a preliminary analysis of the business models.

First release of the fog computing platform

EU lead participant: FBK, Korean lead participant: GLSYS. The deliverable will provide the first version of the fog computing platform. In the release, the virtualization environment and the IoT platform will be delivered. The preliminary version of the blockchain solution for cross-border federation will also be reported. The deliverable will include the software code.

First year update to the dissemination, communication and standardization activities

EU lead participant: UL, Korean lead participant: SNU. The deliverable will update the initial dissemination plan and progress on activities.

Initial report on cross-border application data management

EU lead participant: UL, Korean lead participant: KETI. The deliverable will report a comprehensive investigation of cross-border application data management, and will include countermeasures related to environment differences in a cross-border scenario.

Second year update to the dissemination, communication and standardization activities

EU lead participant: KENT, Korean lead participant: KETI. The deliverable will update the progress on activities.

Resource orchestration strategies

EU lead participant: UL, Korean lead participant: GLSYS. The deliverable will report a comprehensive analysis of existing workload placement and resource allocation algorithms, and will include a preliminary design of the QoS-aware dynamic heuristic algorithms.

Visual identity and project website

EU lead participant: UL, Korean lead participant: KETI. This deliverable will set-up the communication toolkit and banding around the DECENTER project as well as an initial version of the project Website containing all public information on the project objectives, partners and workplan.
