Mobile technology that brings personalized audio into your life

Project description

Flawless clarity of sound. There’s an app for that!

Listen! Hearing loss affects hundreds of million people around the world. Elderly persons (more than 1 billion worldwide) also suffer from some degree of hearing loss. The EU-funded TuneFork will address this issue via a personalised audio technology that can deliver an optimal hearing experience. Specifically, this new audio personalisation technology will perform a test to assess the user’s hearing problem. Based on the results of the test and the use of special algorithms to adjust frequencies, the user will receive a custom made audio experience. TuneFork software solution can be integrated into all operating systems and audio content (telephone calls, rings and alerts, TV shows, music, video, GPS instructions, smart assistance and much more). The project will conduct a feasibility study to define further development steps.

Objective

TuneFork is a software audio personalization technology that brings out the best from your mobile sound system, giving you the optimal hearing experience anywhere you go. With the Phase-1 we plan to carry out a feasibility study to better understand the risks for growing at international level, then defining sound mitigation plans.
