Multi-agent control: probabilistic reasoning, optimal coordination, stability analysis and controller design for intelligent hybrid systems

Objective

The training objective of the network is to provide a core of European scientists with necessary multi-disciplinary skills for designing multi-agent control system. The primary measure will be the provision of 224 months of research training to four PhD students, and two post-doctoral researchers. The research training will take the form of taught modules, academic research, teaching secondments, and will be supported by the provision of summer schools (with invited external experts), academic staff exchange, and secondment to an industrial mode in the network. Secondary measures provided by the network involve dissemination of results and methods to the wider community. These measures will include publication of research results using open media (internet), incorporation of results into undergraduate programmes, and where appropriate, provision of formal courses to industry. As part of these secondary measures, external participation in the summer schools will be encouraged.
